Juvéderm Vollure XC Treatments – This treatment is used for the midface and cheek area especially marionette lines and is the only FDA-approved filler for these areas.
The Juvéderm Ultra, Ultra+, and Volbella treatments last between 6 and 12 months while the Juvéderm Vollure XC treatments last about 18 months. Juvéderm is a minimally-invasive procedure where the filler is injected directly into the skin with a fine needle. Some Juvéderm products contain the local anesthetic lidocaine to help minimize discomfort or your physician will numb the site. Within the first 24 hours, avoid strenuous exercise and extensive sun or heat exposure.
