The ideal feminine brow sits above the orbital rim and arches higher as it moves from medial (the middle of the face) to lateral (towards the sides). Brow lifting is a facial feminization surgery used to create this appearance. It can be performed via a pre-trichial approach (an incision made at the hairline) which is also used to advance the hairline and contour the bones of the brow. For patients who do not require the aforementioned surgeries, it can be performed using an endoscopic, minimally invasive technique. For this approach, cameras are used by way of small incisions hidden behind the hairline.
