Dysport is a neuromodulator that is created from botulinum toxin in a sterilized, injectable form. Dysport is similar to Botox and is used cosmetically to treat lines and wrinkles. Dysport works by impacting the nerve signals that are sent to the muscles from the brain. It effectively blocks receptors that cause muscles to contract.
